Willie, Cow shirt and hay around the feed racks make a pretty good pile. How long do you compost it before you spread it? I've turned mine about once so far. The straw in the bottom just kind of preserves itself if you don't give it air. I'm looking for some kind of a spreader for down here across the border in McLennan county. I've got about 5 loads to put out as soon as we get a little moisture in the fall. Wish I had another 20. Massey Man
I will wait till it quits stinking. Then I will spread with the bobcat and level with a rake. I only have a very few inches of soil here then white rock, so I spread it really thick.
